How do i know which company i apply for will give me public accounting experience?

IMPORTANT INFO:
I need 2 yrs of public accounting experience to get my CPA license,
HOW CAN I TELL IF A COMPANY IS PRIVATE OR PUBLIC...IN ORDER FOR ME TO GAIN PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE TO GET A CPA LICENSE???

DONT TELL ME "THE ONES THAT ASK FOR CPA LICENSE AS A QUALIFICATION"
BECAUSE I NEED TO GET PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE TO GET A CPA LICENSE.

DONT SUGGEST INTERNSHIPS EITHER. I NEED TO GET PAID.

ZANDELIA IS VERY MEAN.
I GUESS SHE'S SMARTER THAN A NURESING STUDENT WHO GOT AN A IN BOTH ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY WHO KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT ACCOUNTING!

Ask them to put it in writing.

ask 'em

1) Accounting internships ALWAYS pay!

2) A private accountant is an internal accountant employed by an company for the purpose of maintaining the financials and the accounting system.

3) Public accountants are auditors or they do tax. A public accounting firm's size can range any where between 1 person to the giant companies like the Big Four. So basically you need audit hours.

Also they are called CPA firms. Google that up sometime to see the list of firms.

During interviews you might want to express you are interested in getting your CPA license and ask is there anything that the company do to support that, for example at my company they reimburse the CPA classes, fees, and frame the certificate and gives us a raise. Also it is good to do some research see who their clients are etc.
