Are there any accounting software out there that's free?

I've been looking for free accounting software, tottally free, not trails, no supscriptions, no attachments. Or maybe any software that could help with keeping me organized, business or home? This could include but not limited to, accounting, "to do's, journals, anything? Someone please help.
