Weight training plateau ?

Like most of us, i enjoy weight training but lately there's been a problem. My BARBELL SHOULDER PRESS (aka Military Press) has stalled. For about two years, i've been stuck at the same weight increment. Worse still, if i have to take just one week off to nurse a niggling injury, i actually press LESS the next session.

This is beginning to annoy me 'cos all other bodyparts are coming along nicely. Not as nice as i'd hoped but still.

the key with weight training is variation, i would do an alternative form of exercise that works the shoulders, ie shrugs, milkman where you stand feet shoulder width apart, set dumbs each hand palms facing in, then raise to head like your flapping your arms, also the one where you raise dumbell up to eye level

You need to "confuse" your muscles. Do other shoulder exercises to help support muscle growth. Military Press are great but there are a bunch of other exercises. I highly recommend start taking supplements to support strength. Stuff from GNC, never take steroids!
