Why should an employer invest in an employee to be further trained in accounting? The reason why companies train individuals in thier field is either to enhance thier knowledge so they can do better work while keeping them at same or slightly higher salary (usually cheaper than looking, finding and hiring another person and training them in the companies business) or to keep the worker happy so he/she doesn't look elsewhere. Another possibility is they do not have a budget for another person and do not have grounds to lay off the current person so it is their best option. If he is a good employee, dedicated to his job an employer will do his best to train him properly so that he will stay at that firm... |
