What is the best way to ask (in a letter) my employer to support me in further training in accounting?

Hi, Just a suggestion but perhaps you could try something along these lines??.....

Dear Sir/Madam,

Since becoming an employee within your company, I have learnt a great deal however, I would be very interested to learn much more regarding accountancy and would therefore like to ask for your help to further my kowledge on this subject.
I would like to know the correct procedure to follow to gain further training in accounting please?

I'd speak to the H & R Manager about it first.

Why are you writing a letter?

I just asked at my interview whether I could take training in the ACCA, talked it all out there.

I would just speak to the training person about it.

You need to make a business case for it.

How will you learning accounting help the business? Spell it out to them - remember they are not a charity, it has to be beneficial for them too.
