Deductions, pay rates, and scales how much info are you required to give employee? on payroll stubs Not sure about Minn, but I have worked a couple of states in the Midwest and some have given NO payroll info. on the checks. These were small businesses, and it wasn't a problem for me. It is required that you provide evidence of the deduction categories, if asked, and, of course, you will be reporting at least quarterly to the Federal and State governments. Check the IRS website under Employers and the State of Minnesota Department of Revenue or Secretary of State, whichever controls taxes there, to be sure. |
