Recommended Payroll Strategy for 1 man company?

I have a 1 man S-Corporation, and I am looking for the most cost-effective method to handle payroll processing.

I have a colorado corporation, and I live in Nebraska.

To clarify the question.. The only person my company will be paying is myself.....

Take a look at Quicken books business ... it also downloads to Turbo business tax or delux for income taxes ...pretty simple

You are incorporated in Colorado and so your filings are based on Colorado laws.
Not sure if you have 1 employee or if you are the 1 employee.

If you have 1 employee, then you will be required to get workman's comp insurance, and other benefits that are required within Nebraska.

You should also have in writing, documents that you provide your employees.
Codes of Conduct.
Scope of work or detailed job description.
Business attire guidelines
Explination of benefits
Payroll cycles and time card submissions policy.

Even though you have 1 employee now, you may have others in the future, and so it will be necessary to have these documents in place so that everyone will be provided with the same information, and therefore treated the same.
