Indiana has ended a program that put a chaplain position on the payroll. Do you find paying clergy acceptable? |
The gov. paying religion with tax money? absolutely not. church & state are supposed to be sepperate. i dont go to church and i understand that some people feel they need it, but they can pay for it themselves. im not gonna pay for their little support group, and to the guy above me- if someone's dying an ambulance will pick them up. why would you go to church instead of doctor when you're dying? unless you're a sinner and need to do some last minute atonement lest you be sent to hell. Christ wasn't paid. niether should anyone else. They should get payed...they have expenses they need to need when dealing with crisis...a dying person might not have the ability to drive to a church!! if the religious people need church let them pay for it Its those dang Republicans again, cutting taxes by outsourcing even religion. If a Christian God costs too much, I'll sprinkle fairy dust on the legislature alot cheaper. |
