Does anyone know of a good payroll software program for small businesses?

I think Quick Books has one.

Peachtree Software has modular accounting software, one of the modules is payroll and I found it easy to use yet powerfull enough to meet all of my needs

If you want inexpensive and robust payroll solution, I would recommend www.PayCycle.com. It is very user friendly and allows you not only to manage payroll, but also stay compliant with all your tax filing requirements.

Peachtree is a very good software to use. It's very basic and you don't need to be an accounting pro to use it. When I took accounting in High School that is the software we used and it's very easy to navigate as well as it can help you to prepare statements and keep general accounting procedures in check.

QuickBooks is also decent. My mother-in-law who doesn't have much of an idea how to use the computer is able to do their business payroll on Quickbooks, not saying you don't know how to use it but if she can do it I think anyone can!

Quick Books and it's fairly easy to use. I use it on a daily basis!!

My company uses Quick Books. Very good, but they nail you every year for the up-dates. Still worth it though.

Quick Books is the one I liked the best and it's user friendly, so easy to operate.
