What type of tables or entities do you expect to find in an employee payroll database system.? |
what information do i need to create an employee payroll database system. This is really a very complex question. Besides the personal information about the employee, i.e., full legal name, SSN, address, phone number, you need their pay rate, any pertinent union rules, state(s) of employment and residence, the deductions they're taking, the hours worked and the time off they've taken (and are entitled to). Just buy one (Sage) You're asking a tremendous lot, you know. It's a very complicated subject. Like Ron says, buy one ready made or you'll never keep up with the constantly changing legislation etc. create table emp(empno number(4)primary key, ename varchar2(20),job varchar2(20),mgr number(4),hiredate date, sal number(7,2),comm number(7,2),deptno number(2) reference dept); |
